The goal of the Quranic Studies Certificate program is to equip students with knowledge in various branches of Quranic Studies, including Aqidah, Quranic Studies, Hadith, Sharia, Ethics, Sufism, Islamic Thought and Philosophy, Da’wah, and Comparative Religion. . This program aims to strengthen students’ understanding of how scholars analyze and solve community issues based on certified sources, as well as apply their knowledge correctly. Students are also trained to conduct research related to Islamic religious issues to provide accurate understanding to the community.
Duration of study
Study course for 4 semesters (1 year)
Entry requirements
- Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least three (3) honors in any subject
- Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 MQF in a related field and have an SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Pass a Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in a related field and possess SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Passed a certificate (MQF Level 3) in a related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; or
- Pass STPM or equivalent with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject; or
- Pass STAM (Maqbul rank); or
- Other recognized equivalent qualifications.
