Halal Management Diploma
(MQA/PA 14547) (JPT-N/345/4/1181)
The Halal Management Diploma Program was launched to train graduates who are competent in the field of halal management and understand practices related to various industries in Malaysia. These graduates can meet the needs of the rapidly growing halal industry in the food, tourism, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, business, and other sectors. They will get direct exposure in the halal industry to enrich their knowledge in terms of theory and practice.
Duration of study
Study course for 7 semesters (2 years 4 months)
Entry requirements
- Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least three (3) honors in any subject
- Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 MQF in a related field and have an SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Pass a Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in a related field and possess SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Passed a certificate (MQF Level 3) in a related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; or
- Pass STPM or equivalent by getting at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject; or
- Pass STAM (Maqbul rank); or
- Other recognized equivalent qualifications.
