Diploma Halal Management

(MQA/PA 14547) (JPT-N/345/4/1181)

This Diploma in Halal Management program was developed to produce graduates who are competent and skilled in the field of halal management and knowledgeable in the implementation of such practices in various different industries in Malaysia. Graduates from the field of Halal management are able to complement the development needs of the fast-growing halal industry whether in the fields of nutrition, tourism and hospitality, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, business and any field related to halal management. Graduates in this field are also given direct exposure to the halal industry to enhance their understanding both theoretical and practical

Study course for 7 semesters (2 years 4 months)

  • Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least three (3) honors in any subject
  • Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 MQF in a related field and have an SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
  • Pass a Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in a related field and possess SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
  • Passed a certificate (MQF Level 3) in a related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; or
  • Pass STPM or equivalent by getting at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject; or
  • Pass STAM (Maqbul rank); or
  • Other recognized equivalent qualifications.
