Counseling Diploma
(MQA/PA 14550) (JPT-N/762/4/0051)
The goal of the Diploma in Counseling is to enrich students with general knowledge and Islamic Counseling, as well as form knowledgeable, skilled, and global-minded graduates with Islamic values while mastering Usuluddin, Sharia, Da’wah and Islamic organization affairs. They are trained to practice values, ethics, and social skills in organizations and society. This program also produces graduates who are communicative, work effectively in teams, and have good leadership. They can integrate digital and numerical skills and venture into the field of counseling and Islamic organization affairs to meet human resources at the intermediate or semi-professional level.
Duration of study
Study course for 6 semesters (2 years)
Entry requirements
- Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least three (3) honors in any subject
- Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 MQF in a related field and have an SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Pass a Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in a related field and possess SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Passed a certificate (MQF Level 3) in a related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; or
- Pass STPM or equivalent by getting at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject; or
- Pass STAM (Maqbul rank); or
- Other recognized equivalent qualifications.
