SCHOOL OF MUAMALAT AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
Diploma in Islamic Social Institution Management
(MQA/PA15214) (JPT/N/345/4/1200)
This programme was developed to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, proficient in Islamic Social Institutions Management as well as global-minded in line with Islamic values. This programme covers various areas of management of Islamic-based social institutions such as zakat institutions, waqf, mosques, Islamic NGOs, Islamic cooperatives and Islamic tourism organisations. In addition, the graduates of this programme are given exposure on the inculcation of values, ethics, professionalism and social skills such as communication, team work, leadership skills in the organisation and society in line with Islamic values and ethics (morals). Graduates for this programme are given the knowledge and skills to integrate digital and numerical skills in self-development, management and entrepreneurship in the organisation.
Duration of study
Study course for 6 semesters (2 years)
Entry requirements
- Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least three (3) honors in any subject
- Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 MQF in a related field and have an SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Pass a Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in a related field and possess SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Passed a certificate (MQF Level 3) in a related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; or
- Pass STPM or equivalent by getting at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject; or
- Pass STAM (Maqbul rank); or
- Other recognized equivalent qualifications.
