School of Tahfiz Al-Quran
Diploma in Tahfiz Al Quran
(MQA-A6327) (JPT-R3/221/4/0014)
This programme was created to provide students with Islamic knowledge and diverse knowledge in the field of Tahfiz al-Quran in particular as well as Qira’at and Tarannum in general. In addition, the students who recite the Quran can then apply the knowledge for the benefit of the community. This programme was also developed to produce competent scholars in the field of Tahfiz al-Quran and is able to shape and guide the community to the path of Allah SWT’s blessing
Duration of study
Study course for 7 semesters (2 years 4 months)
Entry requirements
- Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least three (3) honors in any subject
- Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 MQF in a related field and have an SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Pass a Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in a related field and possess SPM with at least honors in one (1) subject and through a strengthening program (if necessary); or
- Passed a certificate (MQF Level 3) in a related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00; or
- Pass STPM or equivalent by getting at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject; or
- Pass STAM (Maqbul rank); or
- Other recognized equivalent qualifications.
